The room and bathroom were immaculate and large; the location is great for walking. Breakfast options were excellent and dinner at the restaurant was superb. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I hope to return and highly recommend.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the garden was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, with some homemade jams and excellent bread. We ate on site twice and were very satisfied with the dinner. There was a small issue with the bicycle booking, but the response was excellent and we had two great days with the borrowed bikes; highly recommended. The room was well furnished with plenty of storage space. For a wine hotel, we expected a better wine list and would have liked a higher‑quality dry wine selection. We could hear the trains at night, but it was quiet enough to sleep with the window open.
