“Beautiful but I will not come back”
Riad Dar Cordoba boasts a beautiful interior inside a restored historic mansion in the heart of the Fez Medina. The building, as indicated by the ornaments in the main lobby, dates back to 1367. Its traditional Hispano‑Moorish architecture and craftsmanship are breathtaking. My room had a high ceiling, was beautifully arranged, and came with Wi‑Fi, a large, spacious shower area, and air‑conditioning. Breakfast was always the same; coffee was available at the start, but there was no option to ask for another cup. It felt like you were expected to take what was given and leave. Guests could stay in the guest house until midnight, which felt odd to be restricted in that way. There are other, more affordable hotels that don't impose such limitations.
