“Für eine Übernachtung okay”
We went to a concert in Gelsenkirchen, which was a bit of a drive, but the hotel was simple yet adequate for the purpose. We slept well… and that’s all we wanted.

Everything was bad from reception to rooms. Customer service specifically.

The location was great, the price unbeatable with free parking, breakfast included and sufficient. Some areas were not clean; the street side was noisy, and at about 3 am a fire truck drove past, making it feel like they were going through the room. Breakfast ran from 6:00 to 9:30 am, which was fine, but at 8:15 am there was no scrambled eggs left and the young lady was totally overwhelmed; I had already made scrambled eggs four times 😅 she made another one, but she was already pretty stressed.

The location near Zeche Carl was excellent, rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was limited.

Nothing good. The hotel was old, very noisy, street traffic could be heard, staff at breakfast were overwhelmed because they were understaffed, the hallway smelled unpleasant.
