The restaurant offered an interesting and varied menu, and the pizzas were very good. The staff were extremely helpful, even arranging bookings and solving any issues that arose. The lodge’s location was very convenient, close to town and many main tourist attractions. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would gladly recommend the lodge. The main drawback was that the tents were positioned close together, especially the four overlooking the wetland area, so noise from neighboring guests could be disturbing. We had very noisy neighbors who shouted and showed little consideration for others, which disrupted our stay to the point that we abandoned the tent we had booked and moved to a less desirable one just to find some peace and quiet. This is something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to noise or want a particularly peaceful stay.
