The family running the guesthouse were very friendly and helpful, the Wi‑Fi worked well, and the place was quiet. It was a bit tricky to locate from the main road at first, but once found there were no more problems. A mini‑fridge was a handy feature, and the beach was directly accessible. Shops and restaurants were nearby, and the bed was comfortable. A general upgrade of the rooms and bathrooms would be welcome.

The view from the terrace looked out over the sea. It was hard to find, with a narrow path leading to it, and from the street you could only walk through a tight stretch of road.

Everything was amazing: the view was beautiful, the staff were as fantastic as always in Bali, the bed was very comfortable, and there was a lovely little garden in front of the room. I’m already looking forward to my next stay in Amed. The included breakfast was great, and I loved everything.

The place is right on the beach, right next to a traditional salt processing site, with cafés and restaurants just behind us for a nice meal. The ocean is great for a morning swim or snorkel right out front. The only downside is the entry and parking – scooters can only park on dirt.
