The location was great—close to the beach, the city center, and the Freedom Cave, and the owner was very friendly. The pillows were thin and the shower headset kept falling off.

“Mājīgi un omulīgi”

The location was convenient— we could drive to various interesting spots nearby. The host kindly shared useful recommendations, the garden was lovely, and the house was thoughtfully furnished, comfortable, and tidy. Overall, we felt cared for in this cozy place.

The room was clean, atmospheric and full of character, featuring a large balcony where I could relax with a coffee and a striking spiral staircase that impressed me; overall I’d recommend it. However, the stove was old, a kitchen bulb was missing, the shower cabin showed its age, the balcony doors didn’t close properly, and the main doors were hard to open and shut; the accommodation was marketed as a studio for four with two double beds, which felt cramped for four adults but fine for two, and I never managed to locate the second bed.

The owner was very friendly, there was private parking, the room was well equipped, clean, quiet, and close to a shop and bus stop. The temperature in the room was a bit low in the evening and at night, but the blankets were warm enough to sleep comfortably.
