The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good, but the entrance was littered with potholes and the room felt more like a motel than a Marriott; it was clean but the toilet wouldn’t flush properly on both visits, so we had to bring a plunger and handle it ourselves. The pool was taken over by a group of men who seemed to be having a frat party, so we couldn’t use it.

The lobby was clean and spacious, the breakfast was hot and good, and the staff were very friendly. The first room we checked into smelled like mold, possibly from the whirlpool tub, and when we asked for a change we got another room that was just as bad. With my lung issues, breathing was difficult, and if we hadn’t been exhausted from traveling all day I would have insisted on moving hotels. The pillows were worn and bumpy.
