The location was lovely, the lodge was kept tidy, and the staff were caring and professional. The room was comfortable, but there were no hairdryers, the Wi‑Fi was poor, the channel selection was limited, and the breakfast information was minimal, so it didn’t encourage staying for breakfast.

The place was a calm oasis with everything you could need right there. The only downside was that the spa just had a few nice chairs and nothing else.

The team—Reba, Valentine, and Mduduzi—were fantastic hosts who made our stay feel special. The meals and drinks were tasty, though the restaurant and its cocktails run a bit high in price.

We slept like kings in a great bed, though we never tried the food. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Loud music blasted from the hallway next to our room until 10 pm on repeat, which made it hard to relax. The TV was tiny, old, and had very few channels, so we almost missed an important rugby match. Parking was far from the rooms, so carrying luggage was a chore unless you ask the gentleman at check‑in for help, which he offered after I requested it.
