The perfect place in the world we spent time in – not a luxury hotel experience but a home experience, amazing food and a magical buffet, a spacious and lovely room, scents that were wonderful and could have been recorded because they were so amazing! A very boho chic atmosphere that was amazing and we would definitely come back even for a week! Nothing – everything was perfect. The location is a bit remote, but everything else was perfect!

An amazing stay. Undoubtedly one of the best hotels we’ve been to in Sri Lanka, if not the best. The hotel is gorgeous, very spacious, and meticulously maintained. The pool is great and perfect for relaxing. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Service was exceptional: they were attentive at all times, yet always friendly and approachable. Even in the morning, just by hearing a little noise, they already knew we had woken up and had breakfast ready for us. And speaking of breakfast… incredible! Everything was superb, and the care and attention in every detail were evident. They also helped us rent a scooter to get around during our stay, which made things a lot easier. Plus, we had a massage right there that was spectacular and very reasonably priced. Enjoying it while listening to the rain in the background was a beautiful and very relaxing experience. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and the shower had very hot water. Everything was very clean and well cared for. But above all, what makes this place special is the feeling of being at home. We felt very comfortable, cared for, and welcomed throughout our stay. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. Everything was great and we’re leaving delighted. We would recommend it without hesitation and would definitely come back. ❤️

Oura Spirit is perhaps the most lovely accommodation my partner and I have stayed in (globally). The staff are friendly, helpful and very willing to make our stay as wonderful as possible. The rooms are beautiful, the shared areas and pool are fantastic, and the complimentary breakfast is delicious. You also have the option to order lunches and dinners, which are very tasty and cooked with fresh market produce. There seems to be nothing the Oura Spirit team can’t accommodate for and we have had a wonderful time. Massive brownie points for Lola the dog (the owners’ golden retriever), we hope she brings future guests as much joy as she did to us!

It was literally like being at home. The best hotel without a doubt during our time in Sri Lanka. The stay here was incredible. No detail was missing. Totally recommendable. Everything was incredible.

The Oura Spirit is a beautiful oasis of calm! We spent the last days of our trip here and couldn’t have chosen a better place. The entire staff welcomed us warmly and cared for us lovingly – thank you very much! The rooms are stylish and the whole property is super clean. The food is excellent and especially the breakfast buffet offers everything one could wish for. Highly recommend this place and thanks for the wonderful time!
