“Economico, essenziale, smart.”
The price‑to‑quality ratio and cleanliness are very good; the building is nice, and the room and bathroom are large with essential, functional furnishings. I personally found it frustrating that all interactions with the host were handled through an app—no real human contact. We’re in Palermo, where personal interaction is part of the experience. When we called, the host was always polite and helpful, yet we never saw them during our three‑night stay. Sleep was heavily disturbed because the apartment is noisy, and the external bathrooms require guests to enter and exit rooms, with lights turning on automatically and shining through the door frames. The self‑serve breakfast is complete but disappointing; the same two industrial pastries were left for all three days. Economically, it’s honest, but it would be better to eat elsewhere. The location is about a 15‑minute walk from the historic center. During our tour days we realized we’d preferred a more central place, so we often took the bus; the positive note is that the 101 bus passes frequently.
