The staff were friendly, the rooms were acceptable, and the value for money was good; it felt like the hotel was mainly used by locals, with several seminar participants or club members around when I stayed, which I didn’t mind at all and I always got a pleasant smile. Breakfast was also good, so overall it was a solid hotel. The downside was that on the ground floor there’s a disco/club that held a party every night; the bass reached and even rattled my room, which was high up, and I wasn’t fully aware before that the hotel was quite far from the city centre, where most tourist activity happens, which I could have researched better.

The breakfast was terrific, offering both Western and Thai dishes, and the staff were fantastic.
