“Small problem but resolved more than adequately”
The building and setting were both very nice, but we ran into an issue with our en suite; the duty manager Tracey handled it fairly and made it right.

The design, furniture, and architecture were all sublime—just a few nitpicks.

Beautiful location, beautiful views, grounds and lovely decor inside and out, in all areas. Lovely appointed rooms. Reception staff excellent, very professional and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The bar and restaurant staff were very slow! We ordered drinks on the terrace and it took 35 mins to receive them and they weren’t complicated, 2 beers 1 wine and tonic water! The same was the same for the evening restaurant experience, slow service for both drinks and food
