This hotel is well-appointed and located just off the main 471 highway that runs along Stryi’s eastern edge. It’s close to many tourist spots: the town center, grocery stores, and an Epicenter. The operators and maintenance staff are genuinely nice and do a good job, my bed and linens were very comfortable, and there were many pleasant fellow guests. Nothing to complain about.

The sound insulation is zero; when someone walks on the floor above, the ceiling rattles and the walls creak. At 10 am there was no hot water. The phone number given by Booking isn’t valid. The fridge isn’t working, the bulbs in the room burned out, the light fixture is broken, and the bathroom door doesn’t latch.

The bed is nice and the room feels homely. There was no hot water in the shower from the morning, no shelves in the fridge, and the pool isn’t included in the price.
