“Heerlijk verblijf, prachtig uitzicht en gastvrij.”
The view was magnificent and the space was large. It would be handy to have a door seal or something at the entrance to keep out pests. I didn’t have any trouble yet, but it could happen in the middle of summer.

The spot is great, spotlessly clean, cozy vibes and the host is fantastic!
Everything was good! The pillows were a bit hard and the blinds didn't block much light, and the curtain at the bay window let in a lot of light.
I loved sleeping in Mr. Erik’s former finial. It’s very atmospheric right on the canal. The room and bathroom were tastefully furnished and very functional. The breakfast, prepared with great care, was a real surprise! Staying only one night☺️

We really liked the location because the place is quiet and spacious, yet you can quickly reach Alkmaar or the beach. The furnishings, comfy bed, lovely bathroom, and the terrace by the water were all perfect. The host was responsive and the breakfast table was set beautifully and abundantly.
