Quiet, a family farm near Hinterstoder or Spital am Pyhrn, the surrounding nature, farm animals, and a nice owner. Nothing much else.

We went skiing in Austria with kids for the first time and chose this accommodation even though it’s not directly in a ski resort; it was only a 15‑minute drive to nearby Hinterstoder or Wurzeralm. The kids loved staying on the farm, feeding the little calf, giving salt to the larger cows, etc. They learned about how the farm operates and how the cows are milked with an automatic system (something we hadn’t seen before), which fascinated the older daughter. Ducks, peacocks, chickens, and even a cat with a kitten were very popular companions. Even though it was cold, the kids enjoyed the playground with a trampoline. The apartment’s equipment was sufficient; we missed nothing. The storage space in the wardrobes was more than standard. We would like to return sometime. The Wi‑Fi connection was weaker, but we didn’t need it, so it wasn’t a big deal. However, if someone needed to work on a computer, it could be a problem.

We drove to the nearby ski resort, the trip was good, the accommodation was great, and the view was beautiful. The kids enjoyed the animals on the farm.
