The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, and the room was charming and typical, but when we arrived the toilet paper holder was covered in poop.

The bartender was hilarious, the location was great and it looked cute from the outside, but the beds were small and sagging, it was extremely dirty (we had to clean up ourselves and ask staff to change the bedding), the staff were very unfriendly and seemed in a bad mood.

The fish and chips at the restaurant were good, the location was easy to reach and close to the water, and the room was quite pleasant, but there was a brief wait at reception because I hadn’t specified my arrival time as requested, and the bathroom was a little dirty in the corners, like behind the door.

The location was perfect for exploring Skye and the hotel’s history was intriguing, but the price per night was excessive for what you got, the bed was too small even though it was listed as a double, it was very uncomfortable and I couldn’t sleep, the decor was tired, the dinner food was very mediocre, and it was disappointing for the price and not the quality expected from the description.

Breakfast was good, the bed was small, the curtains didn’t close properly, the shower head was weak, and the fire alarm went off several times.
