There was no breakfast at the accommodation, so the hosts left a list of nearby breakfast spots, which was very considerate. Everything else was perfect.

A small standard room for two guests. I paid for two nights for myself and a little five‑year‑old child. In the morning, while I was in the shower, the door broke and shattered into tiny glass pieces, cutting me to the point of bleeding. When I spoke to the host, he tried to blame me, offered no replacement room for an extra night, and didn’t refund the payment. I had to go to a clinic to treat the injuries and get a certificate. I spent a long time at the clinic with my child because there were many visitors, and we had to return home without seeing the Vartburg lock or the house where I.S. Bach was born. The trip was completely ruined. I would not recommend this guesthouse to others; it’s better to choose a larger hotel where such incidents are handled properly for guests.

A quiet spot in the city center, though there’s a fair amount of foot traffic around.

The décor impressed us, and the silence was so deep that we slept soundly.
