Ylläs Lake Hotel

The ski lodge started right next to the hotel. The parking spot was too tight and the thick mattress was uncomfortable for several days. The room wasn’t cleaned even though it was scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday; I had to bring the towels myself because they’d been left on the floor for the cleaner. I also had to fetch the toilet paper. The room was too hot at 24 °C, and the floor heating was supposedly standard in all rooms but couldn’t be adjusted. I could have lowered the floor heating and set the wall radiator to a comfortable level, which we had on.

“Kahden yön majoitus”

Quiet, good sauna spaces. On the top floor, the room’s sounds were fairly noticeable, the ventilation wasn’t great, and when the window was open it had to be aired out.

Breakfast, location, and sauna were okay. The room smelled like mold—definitely not good! The hotel was tiny, cramped, and the corridor was narrow.

The ski trail started from the courtyard. The room had no TV and no fridge.

The breakfast was good but a bit limited, and overall cleanliness was not up to standard.
