I booked this place for its low price and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and spacious the room was, making for a comfortable stay. The shared kitchen area was well-equipped with a fridge and a microwave, which was really handy. The only downside was the outdoor bath; it felt a bit underwhelming, though the indoor bath was large and spotless, so that was fine for me.

Even though we left early to watch the sunrise at Edobori Pass waterfall clouds or checked in late, we could do so freely without worry, and it was helpful that they informed us of the group’s bathing schedule during the camp. A rainbow appeared right outside the window, which was wonderful.

The price of the room was cheap, and although the building and facilities felt dated, the cleaning was thorough. Unfortunately, thin walls (or loud guests) meant I could hear a group in the next room chatting late into the night, which kept me up, and the only bedding was a thick blanket in the midsummer heat, making it hard to sleep.
