When we mentioned it was a honeymoon, they upgraded our room and left messages and surprises from the staff, making the last day of our trip incredibly special, and the view from the room was amazing. The only downside was that the hotel is a bit far from Lucerne station; we didn’t know there was a cable car below the hotel, so walking with our suitcases turned into a steep hill that was tough.

The room and view were stunning, but the breakfast didn’t meet the standard we expected from the hotel.

A stunning view you can enjoy from the restaurant, and the hotel is only a bit out of the way but still easy to reach the city. The bar closed earlier than advertised, so we couldn’t use it when we wanted to take in the view, and a waiter at the restaurant reacted a little irritated when we didn’t understand what he was saying.

Its position offers an incredible view over the entire Luzern bay, and the Grand‑Hotel‑style ambience adds to the charm, while the personnel were also very welcoming.
