The location was great.

Close to the Baseball Hall of Fame, reasonable cost, and a good sized room, but the older building felt like a B&B without breakfast, the restaurant was closed for the season, and parking on the property was limited.

Tom at the front desk was helpful and friendly throughout, the 200‑year‑old hotel was clean and wonderful in the town center, and we loved the historic vibe that Tunnicliff delivered.

This historic hotel was delightful, with a manager and staff who were extremely friendly and helpful, and I’ll definitely book again.

I didn’t expect a five‑star rating, and that’s fine because this place isn’t selling that; it’s clean, friendly, and cozy, exactly what we needed in the middle of Cooperstown, and I’m already planning our next visit.
