It was nice and quiet, and we could hear the river. The outdoor area was in disrepair with junk scattered around, and there was no access to the river… there could have been so much more done there.

The restaurant impressed us even though we don't usually enjoy Ecuadorian food; we ate there every day. It was quiet and the veranda was especially relaxing for us. The staff were very helpful and child‑friendly. There was a table with chairs and also a large shelf, which is something we often miss for storing clothes. It was great that dogs were allowed. At night it got quite warm, and the shower wasn’t very hot.
