The countryside hotel was very pleasant and the staff were friendly. The food was good and there was parking nearby. The room we received was well taken care of.

“Für eine Nacht ist es in Ordnung.”

The location was good. The electronic key card for the hotel entrance (side entrance) didn’t work. At 22.30 I wanted to fetch something from my car. When I tried to re-enter the hotel with the electronic card – the restaurant and main entrance were already closed – I was standing in front of a locked door. The code seemed to fail. I rang the neighboring houses to ask how I could reach someone. By chance I eventually discovered that there were still staff in the kitchen. They let me in and gave me a new card. The next morning they briefly apologized. For me, a brief “sorry” felt a bit insufficient after standing on the street between 22.30 and 23.00 and thinking about sleeping in my car. Additionally, in the evening there was no table available for dinner; all tables were booked. They didn’t offer me a spot for a later time either.

It was a traditional German inn full of character. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good, and the location was very pleasant. I’d suggest booking dinner in advance because it’s a popular spot and they only have one seating.

“Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder”

The breakfast was exceptional: the table was fully set with a thermos of coffee, and the manager came by to check everything and offer other drinks. There were scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, various sausages and cheeses, yogurt, muesli, jam, fresh fruit, and of course tasty rolls. Simply great.
