Great location, staff were friendly, and the room was good. I would have liked a coffee shop inside, but there was one just outside.

“Funcional para una ó dos noches”

I arrived with very low expectations after reading the reviews, so I was pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable and spacious, the bathroom was small but sufficient and well located. I asked to check in an hour early, but that wasn’t possible.

The location is perfect; the neighborhood has all kinds of services. The hostel staff are very kind. The room size might feel tight if you bring large suitcases, but we only had two cabin bags and could move around. The bathroom is quite spacious. I appreciate the window overlooking a tidy interior courtyard and the room’s cleanliness. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom could use a cosmetic renovation, though it works perfectly. They charge €2 per bag after check‑out for leaving luggage.

“Hostal Ártico, un buen alojamiento para alojarte en Madrid si has de moverte por Moncloa o la UCM”

Everything was great, especially the staff who were very attentive. The room was very clean. The only suggestion is that they offer slightly thinner pillows, because the one in my room was too high for my taste.
