Cleanliness, good bedding, a fairly spacious room, and decent air‑conditioning. We’ve come from France to Vera Playa three times now and have never slept outside, but for newcomers the reception can be confusing; you have to call and it’s done remotely. On 5 September around 18:30 it was awkward—the reception door was open, no one was there, the key cards were in a drawer… it felt like a malfunction! The payment was made the next day at a full‑capacity counter in a lively room, all in good spirits.

The truth was a complete room and the air‑conditioning worked perfectly. Nothing else to note.

“Relación calidad-precio”

It’s very convenient to have a restaurant on the same property. The rooms are prefabricated but work perfectly. The hotel is next to the highway and the staff were spectacular. We’ll definitely come back because it stops us halfway when we visit family. Ideal for sleeping and splitting the journey in two. The downside is the hotel is in an industrial area and parking is on the street.

“No lo recomiendo”

I can’t find anything I liked. Arriving at a hotel without hot water is one of the worst experiences after a long trip. The shower handle was broken, you couldn’t attach the shower head to the wall and had to hold it with your hand, plus the water was cold. The partition didn’t cover the whole shower and the whole bathroom flooded. The pillows were so thin they felt like sleeping without one. In July and August, the bar is closed, so if you book expecting a good breakfast in the restaurant below, you’re surprised you have to drive out for breakfast. The rooms weren’t cheap for their location, and the service offered was poor. If you drive the Oropesa to Cabanes road at night, you can find wild boar; we found three on the road. Obviously that’s not anyone’s fault, just be cautious.
