The hotel’s spot is perfect for a short Madrid stay—walkable to many major sights, plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, and Mercado San Miguel right across the street. The building feels quaint but a bit dated, and the entrance is easy to miss. Breakfast was a highlight. Service was mixed, and a communication mix‑up forced us to bring our bags downstairs to change rooms.

The reception staff were excellent and everything promised actually happened, thanks. However, I think the price is high compared to the benefits.

The hotel’s spot was ideal for launching our tour and then for exploring the mercado, Plaza de Mayor, Royal Palace, etc. I highly recommend staying here and the location is unbeatable! Nothing else to add, it was flawless.
