The hotel was lovely, the room was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. The food at the restaurant in the evening was disappointing.

Everything was excellent—the rooms were very clean, the facilities and spa were lovely, and the team was extremely friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely come back!

“Good but could have been better.”

The front‑desk team were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Our room was huge and had everything we needed, except a shower cap. The bed, pillows and duvet were dreamy, and the décor and furnishings were very classy. Nobody greeted us at breakfast; I had to ask the only waitress if we should just sit down and she replied “yes it’s all self‑service.” We didn’t know whether the items on the menu were all free or if you had to pay for some of them; everything on the menu had a price. I had to ask for some of the breakfast items to be replenished—yogurt and fruit—and other items needed to be replenished too. Throughout the whole time we were there, there was only one staff member present, and she was clearing and setting tables.

“Very nice and we will return”

We found the place pleasant and comfortable and overall had a great time. The only gripe is that the cleaners didn’t do a good job making the beds; the covers only reached our waists and could have gone further.

“It was quiet and quality time away.”

The place was clean and well maintained. For breakfast and dinner, knowing that there wasn’t a lot of space, we relied on the restaurant but it was always busy, and if it wasn’t booked then you couldn’t get in. I understand that it was stand‑alone, but a hotel guest should have gotten preference.
