“Excellent stay near to Cologne station”
Friendly staff, great beds, and a shower that works well in this conveniently located hotel near the station – nothing else to note.

Angela at the front desk went above and beyond to make the stay memorable during a tough time; the hotel was great, but the staff were even better.

The location is spot on, right at the train station. I stayed in a Comfort room and asked for a quieter spot, which was arranged perfectly; I could have even slept with the window open if I wanted. No disturbances from the hallway, the bed was comfortable and I slept well. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was free water and coffee. The underground garage isn’t public, which gave me a good sense of security, and the parking price is really fair for Cologne. The lobby has cozy furniture that invites you to linger, except for the annoying music. Supermarkets and plenty of restaurants surround the hotel. On the downside, the room was very small – there are no larger options, so I couldn’t find a corner for my yoga mat and there was no storage in the bathroom. The hallway carpet was ugly and spotted. The breakfast area was too small and the refilling wasn’t quick enough. The techno music in the lounge was irritating even at breakfast, so I relied on my noise‑cancelling headphones. The Eigelstein quarter is something you have to like; I knew what I was getting into. For solo female travelers it might be a bit of an adjustment. Overall, the price‑for‑value feels a bit high, even for Cologne.

Nice staff and a rooftop terrace – but the breakfast was very crowded, the tables were tiny, and the area felt too open toward the check‑in desk and the entrance, giving a true train‑station vibe.
