“Kolumbianische Herzlichkeit, Ruhe, Meer, Privatstrand und grandioses Essen”
The accommodation consists of three bamboo huts located 10 m from the sea. Apart from the sound of the waves, no other noises are heard. The beach is large and, even with some people around, there is plenty of privacy. The sea can be a bit rough here, but for splashing you can use the nearby river that flows directly into the sea (also suitable for children). The huts are simple but fully functional (electricity, internet, water‑toilet, cold water shower, mosquito net). The property is about 9 km from Palomino, reachable by bus (colectivo) in about 10 minutes. The host, Santiago, is a trained chef and you can tell by the food! The bar isn’t open all the time, but Santiago is always reachable, so we never had to suffer from hunger or thirst. You should let him know your meal request about 60 minutes in advance, as he shops fresh and prepares the food immediately. There is no reception; arrange your arrival time with the accommodation beforehand. In short: if you’re looking for quiet, just the sea and a private beach, this is the place. You’ll also be treated by Santiago with Colombian warmth and amazing dishes! Directions: from Santa Marta by bus (from the market) toward Palomino. Tell the driver where you want to get off, and he’ll stop. If you want to go to Palomino or back to Santa Marta, just stop a bus and get on.
