The main house was very pretty with great views of the village, the grounds were well kept, and the terrace by the breakfast room was lovely for morning meals. Everything was great; the only gripe was that we stayed in a lodge that had a slightly less appealing view (back to the forest).

Very quiet location, spacious grounds, and good breakfast, but everything felt a bit unkempt, as if it’s seen better days and is stuck in a renovation backlog.

Beautiful, quiet log‑cabins that are well maintained and clean, with extremely friendly hosts and a playful, cuddly German bear dog, plus a great location for hiking—just 3.5 km to Arnsberg’s old town.

At breakfast there was something for everyone’s taste. The accommodation in its very quiet setting pleased us.

The view was beautiful, the accommodation great, and the breakfast was very good—better than expected. The hosts were very friendly and the dog in the courtyard is simply lovely and cuddly :) If you want to hike or walk a lot, you can also run around well :) We followed the recommendation to eat at the Alte Backhaus and it was super tasty and nice, thank you. A cooling unit would have been nice at that time.
