A lovingly furnished apartment. Plenty of space, good and large bed. Very quiet and well located. The breakfast was very frugal, only baguette and jam, a bit of juice and that’s it. Very French, but some yogurt or croissants would be appropriate for the price. Also, breakfast had to be taken at the living‑room table while sitting on the sofa, which is rather uncomfortable.

The barn was beautifully renovated with meticulous detail, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, meeting us right at our pre-arranged arrival time and offering to carry our luggage; they also gave great suggestions for local restaurants in the charming nearby town of Coulommiers, and there was nothing negative to mention.

We flew in from Disney and arrived very late, but the staff welcomed us at midnight, and the breakfast was delicious with a lovely patio setting; everything else was fine, though the location is a bit off the beaten path.

Staying here felt like being at a friend's house rather than a hotel, with owners who were extremely friendly and tailored everything to our needs; the kids could feed the hens and DVDs were available in the room, a cat and/or dog even joined us during meals and the cat visited our bedroom, leaping onto me; breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty, and I strongly recommend it, especially for families with kids.
