“Awful”
This turned out to be the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in the area, and I regret booking it so hastily. The biggest issue was the lack of value for money; I paid roughly twice what I’d paid elsewhere nearby, where the rooms, facilities, and service were noticeably better. With that price, I expected at least basic comfort and functionality, but problems kept piling up. They began even before arrival: I sent messages via the hotel’s online contact, but no one replied. Check‑in was unnecessarily long and unpleasant; the receptionist at the front desk couldn’t locate my online reservation, spent a long time searching for it, and initially refused to check me in. Her attitude was rude and unwelcoming throughout. The internet was essentially unusable; I reported this to the same receptionist, who promised it would be fixed, but nothing changed—Wi‑Fi stayed down for the whole stay. Then there was the water: I had water at night, but by the next morning there was none, a basic service I’d expect to be reliable at that price. Sleeping was another major problem: hotel staff were doing loud repair or construction work inside the building, close to my room, during the night. I could hear it clearly and couldn’t sleep properly. I complained to reception and was told something would be done, yet the noise persisted. Even when the repair noise quieted, loud music became another disturbance, making it hard to rest. The room itself was in very poor condition—mold appeared in the shower area, parts of the wall or plaster were deteriorating, and the shower door didn’t close properly, producing an awful squeaking noise.
