The place scored A+++ for location, A+++ for cleanliness, and A for comfort—the bed was amazing, though the room felt very cold and sterile yet was efficient and tidy. The staff were a B‑, generally efficient, but one morning I couldn’t reach the front desk to get more coffee delivered because they don’t provide daily room service in the annex building. The shower was seriously the most amazing ever: big, clean, and 15/10 for water pressure. The only downside was the Keurig in our room: there were not enough pods, and I couldn’t get the front desk to send more; there was no coffee service in the lobby. That coffee issue was extremely frustrating, but otherwise the stay was wonderful.

The reception was very friendly and professional, parking was free, and my bed was very comfortable. Overall, for a longer holiday the place feels run-down, and a single night is too pricey. We stayed in a satellite building, which isn’t a big deal. The main house looks like cardboard—neighbors’ TV can be heard. Rooms are very shabby, no housekeepers (only paid staff). The hallway feels like a psychological thriller: dark, grimy, with damaged walls or wallpaper. It’s clearly under‑managed and no money is invested.

“would stay at the main lodge versus the adjacent building”

I was greeted by a wonderful staff and the restaurant was great, and the location was excellent. However, we stayed in the adjacent building rather than the main lodge, and walking in felt like stepping into a hospital room with its bright white lights and strong smell; the bathroom had been updated though.

“0/10 … NIE WIEDER - Hände weg vom Annex-Building”

Nothing notable. The annex building looks nothing like the photo description from the outside, more like a building that needs renovation. When I entered the (very small) room, a musty, unpleasant smell hit me, and even after extensive airing it didn’t improve. The room advertised for a maximum of four people is far too small, suitable for only two. The mattresses are extremely uncomfortable and creak loudly when turned, waking everyone present. Our mistake was not complaining to reception immediately after entering the room and asking for a different one.
