Shantiniketan lives up to its name, offering a quiet retreat surrounded by lush trees and mountains, even giving a view of the glacier. The staff, especially Aman and Sanjay, are exceptionally friendly and keep guests happy, cooking delicious meals like the pahadi thali, and Aman even guided us to the best spots at Kasar Devi cliff.

The accommodation was very cozy and perfect for people seeking calm and spiritual depth; the staff were very kind, entertaining, and organized day trips, cooking meals with heart and love, making everyone feel very welcome and the staff went out of their way to ensure comfort.

The property is really nice and well maintained, with thoughtful spaces for a library, games, music room, and outdoor areas; huge thanks to Aman bhaiya, Sanjay bhaiya, and Dwarka Bhaiya. The food was the best, light on the stomach, and I recommend it if you want a good home‑cooked meal or “maa k haath ka khana” 🤩.

The shed is my favourite part of the property. It invites you to unwind and take in the natural beauty. Perfect for nature lovers and peace seekers. Shantiniketan also provides easy access to nearby trails and the Kasar Devi temple. Whether you’re reading in the shed or enjoying the sunrise over the mountains, this place feels like a serene sanctuary

My stay at this mountain homestay was a peaceful retreat into nature, with stunning mountain views and lush greenery offering pure tranquility. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making me feel at home, and their delicious, home‑cooked meals added to the comfort. The wooden shed was simply my favourite lounge space here, a perfect getaway for those seeking nature and relaxation. SIMPLY LOVED IT!
