The location was good with excellent access to the center, but we had no contact with the host at all—neither before nor during the stay. Auto check‑in, no change of linens or towels in five nights. The room’s curtain smelled bad when humid, and they charged us an extra 10 euros without justification.

Cute, but the bathroom was dirty, very far from the center, and pricey compared to the center.

The spot is right next to the bus stop that takes you straight into the old town, parking is free and easy, and checking in was a breeze. The room, however, is tiny, the view is gloomy, and the windows are dirty.

I knew the room was a 35‑minute walk from the rail station, but it ended up in the basement, which was acceptable. The ceiling above the bed had a leak and was poorly finished. The worst part was that every time the person above used their shower, a gushing trickle could be heard directly above my head, though the shower itself was fine. By comparison, I stayed at Aberdeen Hotel for much less, with a better double bed and helpful reception staff, so I’ll base future visits there.
