Chara’s place is a gorgeous sanctuary for a calm, restful holiday. The pool area is stunning and the apartment is immaculate. Breakfast was absolutely incredible, and we felt very welcome.

The homemade breakfast was marvelous and varied. The interior décor was tasteful, with second‑hand objects and furniture. The patio with the pool was delightful.

The accommodation was incredible, with a beautiful décor, the house setting, and the room. Breakfast was very hearty and tasty. The host was attentive and accommodating. Everything was great; we’ll return gladly! I just wish we could have stayed longer.

Hiraeth was simply amazing. Our apartment was spacious and beautifully furnished, with creative touches everywhere—art, ceramics, books on display. The garden was a calm oasis spread over several levels, offering spots for sun or shade, and the pool was perfect for unwinding. Chara was a warm, generous hostess who served incredible breakfasts and added bonus cakes and a spinach & feta pie—delicious! Nothing was too much trouble for her. Megalochora was delightful, quiet and peaceful compared to our previous visit to Fira, and local restaurants and arty shops were just a short walk away.

The welcome and airport transfer were excellent, the garden lush, and the room bright. However, there were nighttime noises in the village and the pool was poorly maintained.
