“Descanso”
I was allowed to check‑in early because I arrived before the scheduled time, which I really appreciated, and the staff were very friendly and always ready to help, especially since I was traveling with my dog🐶🫶🏼. Nothing else was wrong, everything was perfect.
The location near the main street was convenient. However, the tree outside the room sways in the wind, creating loud noises that shake the walls and make me feel unsafe, so I couldn’t sleep well. The bedding was worn out; new sheets and towels were needed. The breakfast was basic and didn’t match the price of the accommodation. Daily water problems persisted, and in the mornings the shower had no hot water.

Breakfast was plain and unremarkable, and I was disappointed to find the room didn’t look like the photos, with an unwelcoming welcome on arrival. The fleece sheets weren’t to my taste, though they were swapped when we asked; it was chilly, the heating didn’t work and cut the power when turned on. The receptionist was unfriendly, the owner was nicer, and I would have left immediately if a room change had been possible.

“Hard Road San Pedro un lugar tranquilo para hospedarte”
We stayed for two days and it was very comfortable. The place is quiet and just a few blocks from Calle Caracoles; one of the streets is a bit dark, but the area is peaceful. They were very kind when I asked about early check‑in or if they could provide internet for a work meeting. Breakfast service was good, the room was spacious with TV, a comfortable bath and shower, and the bed was fine. The room had a stove and air‑conditioning, though we didn’t need them. Thank you! We loved staying with you. The only suggestion is to offer fruit at breakfast.
