The peace and the beautiful sea were great, and the hotel management helped resolve the room issue by swapping it for a suite. However, the wait for the new room was long because cleaning wasn’t finished, and despite it not being summer, the plumbing and drainage work left noticeable defects—broken tiles, stones, and marble debris on the beach, suggesting the contractor didn’t clean up properly and threw waste into the sea, which could harm guests.

The rooms were clean, the food excellent, the staff friendly, the view lovely, and the beach was spotless with good facilities. The location is close to attractions, but getting a taxi from the street in front of the hotel is difficult; you need the inDrive app to get around or reach the city centre.

The staff, especially receptionists Layla and Yaser and restaurant team member Rania, were incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming, making the stay feel comfortable. The hotel’s spot is great, only a 5‑minute drive from Sea Eye (عقر الخادم), about 30 minutes to Ajeeba Beach (شاطئ عجيبة), and close to other clear turquoise spots like Al‑Abyad Beach (شاطئ الأبيض). The water at the hotel isn’t crystal clear because it sits on a lagoon, but the lagoon itself is calm, safe, and perfect for swimming. The best part is the location, giving easy access to nearby open‑sea beaches with stunning crystal‑clear turquoise water.

The food earned a 7.5/10, but the sea was littered with seaweed and sharp rocks. The room was terrible: on day one the toilet was broken, and in the middle of the night sewage flooded the bathroom. We had to argue with the night staff to get a new room, then had to repack everything again. This is definitely not a place we’ll return to. My husband and I are a retired couple looking for peace and comfort, and there was none.
