The one‑room apartment was well equipped with a small fully functional kitchenette and utensils (sharp knives, good pan and pots). The sun‑baked balcony offered a great view of the mountains, and there was a bike storage space. The owners were very nice, and a roll‑up bread service was available on request. Drinks could be bought on site at a low price. The Demelhof is quiet, and within 7 minutes by bike you’re in Reit im Winkel, with various walking trails nearby. The Premium trail Klausbachklamm is a 5‑minute walk away, and the Blindau parking lot is 10 minutes away. The restaurant Sonneneck, with tasty food and good service, is about 7 minutes away. Nothing to note, everything was great.

The quiet setting, the fantastic view, the connection to nature, and the warm, friendly people made everything perfect. Nothing was lacking.

The location is fantastic, with mountain views, plenty of peace to relax, and many activities reachable in a short time.

Absolute quiet; aside from grilling, nothing could be heard at night. The cul‑de‑sac meant kids could play outside safely. The view was beautiful toward the mountains and Reit im Winkl. Herr Hagenauer gave great hiking tips. The e‑bikes could be stored in a locked room and charged for free if needed. The Chiemsee is about 25 km away, so from the Demelhof we did round‑trips around the lake and cultural tours to the monasteries Baumburg and Seon, as well as Herren- and Frauenchiemsee. We also enjoyed nice walks right outside the door. No spontaneous complaints.
