I had paid online for my stay ahead of time, yet at check‑in they claimed my room wasn’t paid for and tried to charge me again! I had two excited kids ready to swim, and after they sorted it out we finally got to our room and went to the pool. The pool was crowded with kids doing tricks while their parents sat in the corner on laptops. The hot tub looked very cloudy, almost as if it was extremely dirty. The beds were extremely hard, and the staff tried to charge me twice. The pool/hot tub looked extremely cloudy and dirty, and the breakfast was distracting: the eggs tasted like nothing, the bagels were hard, the oatmeal wasn’t even edible, and there was barely any selection. For $250 a night that just blows my mind. My wife and I travel often and have never felt this way about other hotels… we drove 6 hours for a crubby hotel. How sad to take advantage of your guests. Charge them $250 plus for a hotel that should cost $34 a night…
