“Spacious, good amenities and close proximity to ski slopes:)”

The facilities were great, just a little old but I was pleased overall. The ski drying room and onsen were a pleasure for us skiers, and the slope (a cat track leading to the main slope) was right behind the hotel. Breakfast was good. I paid for dinner one night and it was great too! The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old.

“Would be back again if food is improved !”

The location is excellent; you can truly ski in and ski out (I’ve seen comments saying otherwise, but I suspect they can’t read the map or they’re visiting too early or late when lower runs are closed). It’s convenient to all resorts in Shiga Kogen since Yamanoeki bus station is a short walk, and you can go to Okushiga or Kumamoyu without transit. The Nagano snow shuttle can drop you off and pick you up right at the hotel to/from HND/NRT. The staff are very nice; a young man at reception speaks better‑than‑average Japanese and English. Free laundry and a drying machine are provided (you need to buy detergents). There is no luggage storage, but lockers are available. Food is terrible—both breakfast and dinner are miserable, and there are no other restaurant options. Please improve the food! We couldn’t use Wi‑Fi at all during our four‑night stay.

The room was very comfortable, but breakfast and dinner were not that good. It’s better to bring your own food.

Clean and spacious, good location near the ski area but not close to food options or restaurants, though the room looked very dated.
