“ontspannend en excellent voor fietstocht naar Cambremer en de Ciderroute / Beuvron en Auge”
The food was delicious and there was a different dessert on the table each day. No problems.
“Like a fairytale🩷”
The most beautiful property in a quiet little town felt like a fairytale. It was calm, relaxing, and the surroundings and views were gorgeous, with cute animals roaming the grounds. Breakfast was a traditional French delicacy, and the host was so lovely that we felt truly welcomed, like home away from home. We’ll be back. Nothing – it was perfect!
“Merci!”
The reception, quietness, cleanliness, and service quality were all perfect; nothing to complain about.
“Fantastic property, fantastic host and great location for exploring the area.”
First, I want to commend the host. Christine is wonderful and a joy to be around. We arrived late because of a border control hiccup, but Christine stayed up for us and even booked a table at Café Forges in the nearby town since we didn’t reach the property until 8 pm. We drove over from the UK and there’s plenty of parking on site. Domaine les Marronniers is rare in that it has excellent air conditioning, which was indispensable during the recent heatwave. The grounds are beautiful, and most nights we ate al fresco there with supplies from Intermarché, including one evening during the solar eclipse. The location is convenient for exploring the local area, with most places within an hour’s drive. We visited nearby Beauvoir-en-Auge, Honfleur, Bayeux (sans tapestry…), Deauville, and several WWII sites and museums. A car is necessary, but since we were driving, that wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was excellent, and I would happily recommend Domaine les Marronniers. No negative points – I had a wonderful experience.
“nous y retournerons avec plaisir”
The breakfast was very complete, and the hostess was very friendly and attentive to her guests.
