The breakfast was excellent, the staff were very friendly and there was nothing too much trouble, and the evening meal was good—my fish and chips were delicious.

I loved the view from the room over the fields and the bed was comfortable, but the bedroom door was right next to the bed.

Excellent. Nothing

The lovely country pub had a great location and view, attentive staff, good value for the evening meal and breakfast, but we stayed in a room at the very end of the building where the wifi signal was patchy and didn’t reach.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good, but the hotel was very tired in terms of decor and furnishings; the bed was uncomfortable and I could feel the springs in the mattress, the carpets were grubby, there was no attention to detail—e.g. the pull cord in the bathroom was a very dirty piece of cord and the toggle was missing—and there was an awful smell of urine at the top of the stairs leading to the bedrooms.
