The walk to downtown and the view of the beach were great perks. However, the bathroom was cramped, a flaw that cannot be fixed. Opening the patio door was difficult, there was no screen, and the mattresses felt very hard.

The location was convenient. The first thing we noticed when we entered the room was a smell, but it faded after a while.

The view from my room was amazing, and the pillows and beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the room was dusty—thick dust adhered to everything, not just a light layer from a couple of days. The heating didn’t work the first night, and they only fixed it the next night, so they didn’t compensate. Breakfast was served at a different hotel, not the one where we stayed.

Mold covered the shower walls, the TV was dead, and there was no coffeemaker in the room. Breakfast options were abysmal, and the parking spaces were unclear because the paint had peeled off. No staff were present in the lobby after hours for emergencies.

Being on the water was a nice touch. The décor felt dated, and the carpet in the room was questionable.
