The experience was terrible, especially the reception and check‑out handling. We stayed only one night to break a roughly 12‑hour drive. We paid 75 € for a few hours, expecting calm and friendliness. We arrived around 20:20, only to find the roads blocked by a local festival. The owner said he didn’t know and sent us a location that forced us to drive on rough, difficult dirt roads. He seemed friendly at first, but later that evening he started pressuring us about check‑out, asking when we would leave and reminding us it was due by 10. At about 9:40 the next morning, while we were getting ready, we heard the owner repeatedly and forcefully knocking on the door of the room next door, shouting “Signoreee!” and even saying “Something happened? Let’s call the Carabinieri!” We were simply packing. Around 10, the owner’s wife returned the 5 € for breakfast because the affiliated bar was closed, and urged us to leave as soon as possible. At about 10:20, while I was loading the car, the owner came down and verbally assaulted me, convinced we were the guests in the neighboring room who were not responding. I calmly explained the mistake, but he continued to verbally attack me, eventually telling us to “go away.” I understand the importance of the check‑out time, but there are polite ways to handle such situations. The problem isn’t the roughly 20 minutes of delay; it’s how we were treated. Absolutely negative experience. I would not return or recommend this place.
