“Mooie unieke lokatie.”
The location, unique architecture, tasty food, and comfortable bed were all great. We did not have hot water.

Located in 19th-century buildings in Byrkjedal, Byrkjedalstunet Hotell offers free Wi-Fi and a traditional Norwegian restaurant. The individually decorated rooms feature desks and bathrooms with showers. A gift shop sells local art, homemade candles, and home furnishings. The hotel serves a daily breakfast buffet and has a bar. Guests can enjoy nature activities nearby, including Månafossen Waterfall (15 km) and Gloppedalsura's avalanche boulders (2 km).

The character, history, quirkiness, and shop were amazing! The bedroom was not very clean, the sofa was stained and tired, and the building needs some maintenance.

A very cute small hotel with cozy rooms/cottages; it’s handy that breakfast is included. There was no space to store luggage in our room category. By 9 am the breakfast buffet was already mostly empty (breakfast runs until 10), and the staff were hard to find.

The room was wonderful.

The site is exceptional, original in the mountains 15 minutes from a fjord. The breakfast is very good in a “farmer” style room.
