The house is full of charm with exquisite décor, and the hosts go out of their way to make every guest feel special. Breakfast is tasty, varied, and made with fresh ingredients. Katrien and Steven are lovely. The double bed is actually two mattresses, which can leave a gap between partners. The shower drain is a bit slow and can overflow, so watch out. Being in the city center means occasional street noise at night and early morning.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, always ready to help. The townhouse, a beautiful post‑WWII reconstruction, offers nice rooms—though an AC might become handy on hot days, especially upstairs. Overall, a solid recommendation.

“Fenomenaal!”

We were greeted warmly by the hosts and could enjoy a drink of our choice right away. Early check‑in was no problem, which is rare. The authentic building adds to the experience in the heart of Ypres. The hosts gave great, off‑the‑beaten‑path tips for local sights, and breakfast was phenomenal.

The location is gorgeous—a lovely townhouse right in the center of Ypres. The hosts were warm, friendly, and personal, making us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious, with a choice of eggs each day. We really enjoyed our stay!
