We really enjoyed the hotel. The room was a two‑story cabin with a private indoor and outdoor onsen, and the dinner was one of the best we’ve had. The staff were very pleasant, the facilities were in excellent condition, and the setting is ideal for anyone wanting to be surrounded by nature, which was exactly what we wanted. Nothing to complain about; if anything, the remote location was actually an advantage for us.

Everything was great—just the distance was too far. The hotel is quite far from the city, the road to get there is very secluded, and we even spotted wild boars along the way, which made us question whether we should keep driving 😅.

The in‑room onsen was nice, and both dinner and breakfast were good, offering good value compared to other ryokans nearby. The dirt road leading up to the ryokan made the drive a bit difficult.
