The breakfast was tasty, the staff friendly, and the cleanliness adequate; the value for money was very good, making it more than suitable for transit stays. The mattresses were very comfortable, and there were Hungarian‑language TV channels. It was close to the highway and the border. The pillows were firm, and there was a strange odor—probably from the air conditioning—though it was cooled very well.

The staff was surprisingly generous, otherwise the hotel would have scored much lower, and it was remarkably clean considering how old everything looked. The bathroom was fine and the fridge was a big plus. However, the hotel didn’t match the pictures, at least my room didn’t. It was ready for renovation and repainting, and even the bedding was old. The bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was very modest, and the only complaint was the type of bread.

It was quiet, the price was very good, the staff were helpful, and breakfast was fine for the price.
