Spotlessly clean and a blast to chill at, and it’s close enough to GSU to make it convenient.

The Lodge looks gorgeous, but I booked it for my brother who was coming from out of town and the place relies on shaky keypads for entry and exit. The heat index was 112 degrees outside, the keypad wouldn’t work, and nobody answered the phone for 45 minutes. No staff on site, and the owner blamed user error, yet the keypad was simple and still failed. We left after 2 days of a 4‑day reservation because of the frustration. There’s no drink machine on site, the ice/water in the fridge didn’t work, and the beds are uncomfortable. It’s a pretty spot, but the owners expect it to run itself with a hands‑off approach, and the bedroom has no windows.

The decor is a 10, and Dale is very helpful. The room was adequate but a bit small; the building itself is a good size. There’s no AC control in the room, and the room we stayed in also had no windows.

Rustic, secluded, quiet, and not too far from town.
